JISH-N-TIFLAAN
( A FIVE DAY CHILDREN FESTIVAL)

Organised by Reroot Foundation of India, Help Foundation J&K, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages in collaboration with Kashmir Kala Manch; Jashn-e-Tiflan, a vibrant five-day Children’s Theatre Festival was  held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar, The festival emerged as a powerful celebration of creativity, culture, and young talent, transforming the stage into a space where stories, emotions, and dreams came alive through the voices of children.

Each day of the festival featured a new Chief Guest, which included:

2. Mr. KhurshidAhmad Ganaie, Former Advisor to Governor J&K

3. Mr. SaleemBeg, Former DG Tourism

Cultural Event –SamanBal

Samanbal, a cultural event was organised in collaboration with Aab-e-Rawan and Ehsaas Foundation.

The event celebrated Kashmiri language, poetry, and Sufi cultural traditions through programs such as Mehfil-e-Mushaira and Mehfil-e-Sama.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Mantasha Khalid and attended by respected poets including Waseem Ali Kazim, Gulfam Nowgami, Bashir Zughari, Mir Rafiq, and Sagar Nazir.

The program aimed to encourage youth to reconnect with the Kashmiri language and cultural heritage, which plays a vital role in preserving the identity and traditions of the region.

The program received wide appreciation and was prominently featured across social media platforms and leading e-newspapers, reflecting its cultural significance and community impact. The coverage not only amplified the voices of the artists and organisers but also helped extend the message of preserving Kashmiri language and heritage to a broader audience, inspiring greater engagement and cultural pride among the youth.
